Motorol ARL is a distillate of low sulphur petroleum products. During metal reduction operation Motorol ARL reduces/prevents direct contact between the roll and aluminium surfaces, extracts heat generated by friction and deformation, and also transports metal fines and debris from the roll bite area to the filter. Therefore it provides good cooling and lubrication with low evaporation loss.
Applications
It is used for the Aluminium Sheet Rolling and Foil Rolling in Cold Rolling Mills. It is usually compounded with Fats and Alchohols to attain Load Bearing Properties
